SpaceX provides update on the Starlink project's first five dozen satellites

According to a report by Business Insider, SpaceX provided significant updates on the launch of its first five dozen internet providing satellites.

The long-term goal of the Starlink program is to eventually launch thousands of satellites in order to blanket the world with high-speed internet access.

On Friday, a SpaceX spokesperson said that 45 of the 60 spacecraft succeeded in using their small ion engines to reach their final orbits around the Earth.
