Today is the bond reduction hearing for edgar gardozo vazquez.court officials told me his bond is currently set at 20,000 dollars and 10 percent permitted.that means that he could bond out for 2,000 dollars.but he's been at the jail ever since his arrest last month.
Gardozo-vazquez is the 3only s taken into custody in the fair oaks farms animal abuse case.
The 36-year-old was taken into custody last month on a warrant for animal cruelty, which is a class a misdemeanor.
And also torturing or mutilating a vertebrate animal, which is a level 6 felony.immigration customs enforcement, or ice, has placed a hold on him.a warning that some of the video you are about to see is graphic.
3this is the footage that was taken by arm during what they call an 'undercover mission.'
Arm said they had someone working at the farm undercover for three months documenting what they saw.as we previously reported, the sheriff's office said they are working to identify the person who witnessed the alleged crimes that did not report the activity.gardozo-vazquez is the only one of three suspects that has been arrested.there are still outstanding warrants for santiago ruvalcaba contreros and miguel angel navarro serrano.they are expected to face the same charges as gardozo-vazquez.
