"He can't even speak to the suffering of people who are in prison right now who are suffering in justly," Booker said in an interview after the debate had ended.

Booker renewed his criticism of Biden's work as a senator on the 1994 crime bill, which critics say led to the disproportionate imprisonment of African-American men.

"The first thing he has to do is to own up to, not just the mistakes that he's made, but how it's impacting people's lives now, and have a better plan for liberating people who are unjustly incarcerated right now."

Boston Bans Facial Recognition After Misidentification From The Technology

The Boston City Council unanimously approved an ordinance that will ban face tracking. This includes the purchase and use of facial recognition technology by city officials and police. Detroit police arrested and interrogated a man after facial recognition incorrectly identified him. Local bans on facial recognition, like this Boston ordinance, will undercut big tech efforts. It will stop facial recognition acceptance and reform at the federal level.
