Documents show the NRA planned to purchase a luxury mansion in Dallas for the use of chief executive Wayne LaPierre.

That's according to reports from the Washington Post.

The mansion the NRA looked at cost roughly 6-million dollars.

The purchase was not completed.

It is now under scrutiny by New York investigators.
