Harry Reid Suggests Democrats End Filibusters To Further Fight Against Climate Change

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recommends Democrats kill the filibuster.

According to the Huffington Post, Reid said this move could help them further efforts against climate change.

Reid said: “There’s nothing that affects my children, grandchildren, and their children, right now, more than climate.” These comments cme as more Democrats support ending filibusters in recent years.

Filibusters require a supermajority of 60 senators to agree on any legislation so it can pass the chamber.
