Our maher kawash caught up with both candidates today... Maher ... Where do these two stand with the general election less than three months away.

Aaron ... Woodward and stuckart are not letting up anytime soon.

I talked about the housing crisis with each of them today ... And asked where they specifically disagree on the topic.

Both were quick to point out a flaw in the other's approach.

Woodward says shes focused on creating opportunity for people of all incomes to afford living in spokane.

She also mentioned her goal to make sure college graduates in spokane ... Stay in spokane ... Instead of having to look for opportunities on the west side of the state or elsewhere in the country.

Stuckart on the other hand says woodward's plans revolve around using the taxpayers money to develop housing outside of spokane.

He says his whole campaign is centered around improving the businesses and homes already existing in spokane's neighborhoods.

01;32;04"when ben stuckart talks about increasing housing he's talking about for the most part free and subsidized housing ... I'm talking about housing at different income levels where people can within their means achieve the american dream of owning their own homes and that's where the difference lays."1707;11"on both july 21st and august 10th nadine woodward stated she would subsidize with our taxpayer dollars housing developments outside the city of spokane ... That's the definition of sprawl ... So she's willing to say anything and do anything with your tax dollars."14 since the primary ... Both candidates have been going door-to-door in spokane's neighborhoods in an effort to hear out any issues people may have.

They both also tell me they've been in touch with shawn poole, kelly cruz and jonathan bingle ... In hopes of recieving their endorsements soon.
