This is one of my favorite quotes from Arthur Ashe.
I remind myself of this every time I start to get overwhelmed or think I should be in a different place in life.
We get to appreciate exactly where we are while at the same time working toward our dreams. Instead of focusing on the things we don't have or what we could have done in the past, we can choose to focus on the things we do have control over.
When we do this, we become a lot less overwhelmed.
Plus, it helps us stay motivated to do our best work.
