Two Republicans, 21 Democrats Are Presidential Hopefuls For 2020

The largest group of Democratic presidential candidates in the modern U.S. political era has gotten smaller.

Twenty-one rivals now are seeking their party’s 2020 nomination, reports Reuters.

This is after Massachusetts congressman Seth Moulton abandoned his campaign on Friday.

Also, Jay Inslee dropped out of the race, less than a week after John Hickenlooper ended his campaign.

U.S. Rep Eric Swalwell of California in July became the first Democratic candidate to exit the contest.
