We start with an update to breaking news overnight... a farmer outside belleville is out thousands of dollars in farm equipment -- and around 200 bales of hay -- after a fire early this morning.
Someone driving by called it in -- just after midnight -- along county highway a.
Investigators are still working to find out the cause of that fire -- but they say it is not suspicious.
No one was injured.
A family on madison's west side is waking up somewhere other than home this morning -- after an apartment fire.
The call for that fire came in just before 10 on russett road -- near the madison public library's meadowridge location.
The family's unit was the only one affected by the fire.
No word yet on the extent of the damage.
