Former St. Stanislaus QB turning heads in Baton Rouge

Earlier this summer, it was - reported l-s-u quarterback- myles brennan... was up to 212- pounds.

- a far cry from his playing- weight, during his st.- stanislaus- days... which has the hype- train... all but out of the - station.- brennan has been turning heads,- throughout fall - camp... accounting for 260- scrimmage yards, through- the team's two scrimmages.- joe burrow remains the incumben- starter, heading- into 20-19... but the former- rock-a-chaw has reportedly been- making it a battle... every ste- of the way.

- by the sounds of it... head - coach ed orgeron has more of a- "q-b 1- - a"... and a "q-b 1-b" situatio on his hands... just two weeks- out, from - the season opener.- - "he moved around in the pocket.- he made - some deep throws.

I think some- of the balls that were not- completed because - the receiver dropped the ball - right in his hands.

John- robertson obviously - doesn't coach, but he deserves- everything.

And he says coach,- your young- quarterback is getting better - and better.

He's getting more - comfortable with this - offense, he's staying in the- pocket, his reads are better.

- steve is really pleased - with the progress of myles, so- we've got two quarterbacks that- can go in the game- right now and win it for us.

So- i do believe that."

- a redshirt sophomore, brennan - has just 30 career pass - attempts... going for 247 yards- and a touchdown... with two - picks.- -
