Musician Kanye West and his reality TV star Kim Kardashian made an impromptu visit at Howard University's homecoming Saturday morning in Washington, D.C.

When the rapper brought his worship-style concert 'Sunday Service' to the school.

West has been performing his 'Sunday Services' to cities around the country and it includes gospel music and spoken word.

Kristi Dayemo is a Howard University alum and attended the event.

"As controversial as he is, he is a legendary artist," Dayemo said.

"I wanted to see what it was about..." Kanye and his wife Kim brought their two children - North and Saint - to the event at Howard University.
