New Youth Arts Center breaks ground

November 10th.

The building of a new youth arts center on the city's east side is underway.

The 65,000 square foot multi level facility is just off of east washington.

It will provide children in our area an oppurtunity to engage in all of the arts-dance, music, &amp; theatre.

The building will include two theaters, and 12 rehearsal studios.

The childrens theater of madison and madison youth choir in addition to 20 other non profits will use the space.

One madison alder says the location of the new center will benefit all madison children.
