The driver involved in an overnight chase through multiple counties in southern Wisconsin is facing charges.

It's 6:5 ... time for the morning sprint as we give you everything you need to know before heading out the door.

We begin with new developments this morning... the hong kong government is formally withdrawing the unpopular extradition bill that sparked increasingly chaotic and violent protests over the past few months.

Critics of the bill are upset with hong kong's unwillingness to recognize the legitimacy of the legal bodies in taiwan... which the communist authorities in beijing consider a breakaway province.

Breaking now - u-k police are confirming that 39 bodies have been found in a truck container in southeast england.

At least one of the bodies is a teenager ... police have not identified the identities ... or where they are from.

The truck originated in bulgaria.

A 25-year-old man from northern ireland has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The driver involved in an overnight chase through multiple counties is facing charges the wisconsin state patrol tried to stop the driver and his passenger after speeding in monroe county just before 7.

The chase ensued through juneau, sauk, and columbia counties... state patrol successfully threw road spikes on the southbound lanes of i-90 entering dane county at the columbia county line.

Both the driver and passenger were arrested.

President trump is heading to pittsburgh, pennsylvania today... as the impeachment inquiry heats up.

Yesterday-- house democrats heard quote 'damning' closed-door testimony from the acting u-s ambassador to ukraine-- bill taylor-- who said the president withheld military aid from ukraine unless the country agreed to investigate the bidens.

The white house insists there was no 'quid pro quo.'

Cummings died last week at the age of 68.

His body will 'lie in state' tomorrow in statuary hall at the u-s capitol ahead of his funeral on friday.

We'll get a better understanding of the state of the 20-20 presidential race later today... with 13 months until the general election.

This afternoon... the latest marquette law school poll will be released.

Today's poll is the first since impeachment hearings started in washington.

The poll will answer questions like--- "how do wisconsin voters feel about impeachment?"

And... "how do th current democratic presidential candidates rank in our state?"

The poll is out at noon.

Turkish forces are pausing their offensive in eastern syria for another six days... after a deal between turkish president erdogan and russian president vladimir putin.

However-- this is much more than a ceasefire agreement.

As u-s troops leave eastern syria... the russians are already patrolling territory once controlled by the u-s and its allies.

Vice president pence will be in wisconsin today... it's a re- scheduled visit... pence had to delay his original visit after being asked to negotiate the first ceasefire in syria.

Pence will stop in two cities... touring a shipyard in marinette and talking with employees of 'fincantieri marinette marine'... and then he'll visit uline headquarters in pleasant prairie.

The v-p will be back in d-c later tonight.

Madison schools are looking at a 315-million dollar price tag to upgrade its schools.

The school board is considering asking for that in a referendum next november.

The majority of the money will go toward improving the area's high schools - about 70 million each.

Tonight-- the district will go over its plans for east high school at a meeting there at six.

With student debt at more than 1 trillion dollars.

Many families are looking for ways to save a buck while persuing higher learning.

And ther is some hope...chipotle just announced it will cover college tutition for thier employees.

Of course it comes at a cost..employees must work work at least 120 days and work a minimum of 15 hours per week, and this is only applicable for specific schools, unfortunatley not wisconsin madison.

Chipotle is just the latest company to create something like this...prior to it they were already offering tutition reimbursement.

Starbucks and disney offer something similair...meaning tutition is covered upfrront.

Companies like att, home depot, and ups offer tutiton reimbursement.

Some uw-madison students are sharing their experiences... through a video called 'home is where wi aren't.'

It appears to be a response to the uw homecoming committee's video 'home is where wi are' which was later deleted ... after backlash for not including students of color in the final product.

Some concerns voiced in the video include the a lack of diversity in the classroom.

Authorities in alabama believe they've found the body of kamille "cupcake" mckinney in a dumpster.

The 3-year-old was abducted from a birthday party in birmingham more than a week ago.

Police are charging two people with murder ... one of the suspects was previously charged with child pornography.

Investigators say there's no apparent connection between the suspects and mckinney's family.

We're expecting an update this morning... regarding two wisconsin brothers who went missing while on a work trip to missouri in july.

25-year-old garland 'joey' nelson pleaded not guilty earlier this month on a charge he tampered with the rental truck the brothers were using to visit his farm.

Remains found on nelson's farm haven't been identified.

Prosecutors are expected to give the update at around 10:30.

Dane county officials are hoping hunters, farmers and hikers can help them find a missing woman.

They've identified multiple areas of interest in their search for 23-year-old annastasia evans... who's been missing since may 4th.

Her last known location was an apartment on madison's north side.

The sheriff's office says they've spent days searching remote areas in surrounding counties to the north and east of dane.
