Your morning news now... testimony today in the homicide trial of erik sackett is expected to start this afternoon in la crosse county court.

Witnesses for the defense yesterday included sackett himself.

There's new information about a shooting late last week in crawford county.

The sheriff says lee kennedy of illinois is facing an initial charge of attempted first degree homicide.'

The man he allegedly shot is in critical condition in the hospital.

Some wisconsinites are waking up to snow on the ground for the first time this season.
