The free streaming tier was previously only available to owners of Echo speakers and other Alexa devices.
A Prime subscription is not required, but an Amazon account is needed to access the playlists.
Amazon’s other streaming tiers, such as Amazon Music Unlimited, offer ad-free streaming for a monthly subscription fee.
