In the past few hours we've seen quite a few people come through these doors ready to check in... the lines have been pretty manageable so far... but i've been told that they got pretty long early this morning.
Here in eugene, officials expected about 2 thousand 3 hundred people to fly out... that's an increase of 6 percent over last year.
Nationwide, around 2 point 9 million people were projected to be in the air today.
Some passengers have been telling us that transfers at hub airports have been especially stressful with huge crowds... despite all the hassle, one u-o student i talked to said the visit home will be a quick one.
We have to still fly back for the civil war game of course.
Gonna fly back in late at night.
Maybe it will be busy, maybe it might not be, depending on if they are flying in here or portland.
Speaking of the trip back, sunday is supposed to be the biggest day for u.s. airlines ever.
Around 3 point 1 million passengers are expected to head home that day.
