After being away last weekend, comets fans were excited for this one.

-- along with new addition, antoine roussel for his first game at the aud, who the canucks sent down for a conditioning stint.

-- the comets who haven't won a game at home since october came into tonight's game with that in the front of their minds and they played like it.

-- about two and half minutes lef in the first period, the comets in a power play , mitch eliot from the point, bang!

-- a little over 11 minutes into the second period, comets in a power play again off of a slahing penalty from alexander volkov, none other than reid boucher to sneak that one in.

He tallied 23 saves off of 24 shots for the night.

- the crunch would get one passed dipietro in the third period.

Comets defensemen dylan blujus would net one in in top of the third period and sven baertschi would top things off with an empty-netter late in the fourth.

-- the home wins drought is over.

The comets beat the crunch 4-1.

They're back on the road for their next game this saturday against the toronto marlies.
