Tools Down: Boeing Halts 737 Max Manufacturing

Boeing's assembly line in its Renton, Washington, factory has ground to a halt.

CNN reports the company has stopped building its bestselling plane, the 737 Max.

Boeing will not furlough or lay off workers because of the shutdown.

However, pain will ripple through its supply chain and could hurt America's economic growth.

The shutdown will make restarting production more difficult for Boeing once it finally gets permission for the plane to fly again.
