On Sunday, Nike paid tribute to Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash.
Nike said Bryant was "one of the greatest athletes of his generation." They also called him "a beloved member of the Nike family." Bryant signed a sneaker endorsement deal with Nike in 2003.
He later partnered with the company to establish a basketball program for kids called Mamba League.
