Emilia Clarke is Clinique’s first-ever brand ambassador .
The actress recently shared the news in an Instagram post in conjunction with the brand's announcement.
“I'm Emilia Clarke and I am incredibly excited to say that I am the new Clinique Global Ambassador," she said in the Instagram video.
Clarke expounded on her love of skincare and why she has decided to partner with the brand in a more extensive brand statement.
"Not only is Clinique timeless, but I'm proud to work with a brand that makes people feel included for who they are," she said in the statement.
This partnership seems to be a match made in heaven as Clarke has actually opened up in the past about her passion for skincare.
While speaking with Harper's Bazaar UK in 2018, she shared her direct beauty philosophy, which she said she has maintained throughout her life.
"Taking the time to stop, and ritually clean yourself, and to take stock, is important," she told the publication
