CARETAKER HOLDING THREE BEAR CUBS STORY: Three orphaned black bear cubs received care at a wildlife center in Roanoke, Virginia on Monday (February 17), video shared on social media showed.

In the video the cubs, two males and one female of about three to four-week-old, were weighed and fed at the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center of Roanoke.

The cubs needed care and were dehydrated upon arrival.

It was unclear where the bears were found, Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center of Roanoke said in a post on social media.

The wildlife center was contacted by a conservation police officer after the three cubs were discovered in Willis, Virginia, Sabrina Garvin, Executive Director of Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center of Roanoke told Reuters in a message on social media.

Garvin said if a surrogate was not found to raise the cubs, they would be released by into the wild.
