Path linking Red Rock Canyon to Summerlin approved by county

Clark County Commissioners have approved a 5.5 mile trail linking Red Rock Canyon to Summerlin.

The proposed bike and pedestrian path would start at Charleston Boulevard and Sky Vista Drive and end at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center.

The goal is to create a safer option to travel to and from Red Rock.

It's expected to cost about $15 million.
