Zuniga: as a health plan we strive to collaborate with the communities we serve ramiro zuniga (zun-eega) is the vice president and medical director of california health and wellness.

He says there is a shortage of health care providers throughout the state.

Zuniga: and that is more critical in rural areas we as a health plan want to ensure that our members have the specialists to take care of their health care needs it is only through developing innovative ways like educating physicians locally that we can reach that goal.
