Today's presidential primary election - - disappointing in buchanan county.

County clerk mary baack garvey reports only 21.8 percent of eligible voters cast a ballot today.

That's down considerably from the primary four years ago when 38 percent voted.

However, baack garvey points out that in 2016, both the democratic áandá republican elections were contested after president obama's two terms as president.
