A mechanic in Quebec City documents the thick layers of ice he has to remove from vehicles at his work.
The footage filmed on March 11 shows the mechanic give the ice a thump before he pulls the shards off the vehicle.
The filmer told Newsflare: "I’m a car mechanic at a dealer in Quebec City and also helping with washing cars.
"In the last couple of days, it’s been just hot enough so it rains, while also being cold enough so it freezes.
This caused everything to completely get covered by a thick layer of ice.
"Therefore for every car it sometimes takes 15 minutes to get in and another 30 minutes to get rid of it.
"It is sometimes very easy to remove the ice.
It is very satisfying to do and to hear.
You do have to be careful when you hit the car so the paint stays intact."
