A new Internet challenge is upon us, and Selena Gomez is taking part.
It's called the #SafeHandsChallenge, and it's an initiative to educate people on the correct way to — you guessed it — wash their hands.
Gomez, who was nominated by Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington, shared two videos on Instagram of herself washing her hands.
"I clearly wasn't washing my hands the right way," she shares in the video as she thoroughly scrubs her hands, including paying special attention to her thumbs and washing up for 40 seconds.
