Showing asian americans targeted and harassed because of the coronavirus.

I asked several asian americans if they feel safe.

They told me: they are worried and concerned about their safety.

One person told me she feels people are looking ar her differently now.

Her family owns a restaurant and says: this is hurting their business we're asian but there's so many different types of asians and it's not just asians that have it now too, it's everybody// and i feel like you can't just put it on asian people.

Last week: 3 asian american advocacy groups: the "asian pacific planning and policy council"... "chinese for affirmative action"... and san francisco state's asian american studies department started a center where people can report anti- asian american or pacific islander acts.

I also reached out to the redding police department to see if they've seen any acts of violence against asian americans here.

They tell not at this time.
