This bird lover has a cute way of passing the time - feeding generations of the same family of robins by hand. Semi-retired local government worker Robert Paterson, 56, fed the first bird 'Sir Bruce' in 2017.He's since been going back to the same spot and feeding its family ever since.Mr Paterson said: "I got to notice a robin over five years ago on a car park I was working on. "This robin appeared daily and as I gave it scraps of my lunch it got braver, eventually after months it took crumbs from my hand. "I fed Sir Bruce for months when one time he flew from a tree to my hand! "That's where it all started and since then I have been feeding who I think is his family, I have been filming them since 2017."
