Spain's Coronavirus Death Down As Infection Rates Increase

According to Reuters, coronavirus still has a grip on Spain.

The country's COVID-19 death toll rose from 10,935 on Friday to 11,744 on Saturday.

The total number of infections also increased from 117,710 on Friday to 124,736 on Saturday.

But there is some hope.

The Health Ministry said that Saturday marked the second day in which the daily number of new deaths had fallen.

On Thursday, 932 died within 24 hours, compared to 809 people dying on Saturday.

Spain ordered all non-essential workers to stay home for two weeks to help slow the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has killed more than 6,000 people in the country.
