Instead-the young people are getting creative about their passion.

Earth week-vo-1 earth week-vo-4 here's a look at the southern minnesota climate strike at rochester city hall in december of 2019.

In an online zoom meeting - youth across minnesota will meet on wednesday - and about 100 southern minnesota youth will meet thursday.

Kimt news 3 spoke with the local chapter's co-lead salma abdi.

The virtual meetings will feature various seminars including how to organize in rural areas - how to write letters to lawmakers - and environmental racism.

The group originally intended to make climate demands at the capitol - but instead is using earth week to educate.
