Birx: Trump Was Just 'Musing' About Injecting COVID-19 Patients With Disinfectants

President Donald Trump claims his remarks about injecting disinfectant to treat COVID-19 were “said sarcastically." But White House coronavirus task force response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx says they were just his personal “musings” about potential treatments.

And according to Gizmodo, the White House coronavirus task force response coordinator would really prefer if everyone could let it drop.

It bothers me that this is still in the news cycle, because I think we’re missing the bigger pieces of what we need to be doing as an American people, to continue to protect one another.

Dr. Deborah Birx Interview, CNN On Thursday, it was revealed that the novel coronavirus doesn’t last as long in respiratory droplets under certain environmental conditions.

The Department of Homeland Security's study also found that household disinfectants are effective at quickly killing the virus on surfaces.

This led President Trump to voice his thoughts on the subject at a daily press briefing.

I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute.

And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning?
