At Least 36 people Tested Positive For COVID-19 And Voted In-Person

Wisconsin’s state’s health department said at least 36 people who voted in-person on April 17 tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Business Insider, six of those cases cast ballots and one was a poll worker.

The Associated Press said the cases were linked to the election through contact tracing methods.

It was made clear not all were infected directly at voting polls but could have come in contact with people who were.

Five guard members stationed to help work the polls on election day have started experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
