Well notre dame has certainly found a lot of success in football player from fort wayne in recent years..drue tranquill, jaylon smith and tyler eifert have all gone from the summit city, to south bend, to now playing in the n-f-l..and now tyler's little brother is hoping to follow in their footsteps..griffin eifert making his commitment to the fighting irish official this afternoon..eifert accepting a preferred walk-on offer from brian kelly and company..as a senior at bishop dwenger, the standout wide receiver caught 30 balls for 478 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns..he also led dwenger's defense with five interceptions on his way to being named second team all-sac as a safety..
