It must be worn in all hallways, public spaces and common areas - as well as office spaces where social distancing isn't possible.
Face coverings will also be required outside - if social distancing guidelines can't be met.
The university is also creating the protect purdue implementation team to help with reopening campus.
Employees say they are happy with the safety protocols.
