Purdue University lays out new guidelines to re-open in the fall

Purdue University is announcing new guidelines ahead of resuming in-person classes.

They include requiring anyone who enters a building on campus to wear a face mask or covering.

It must be worn in all hallways, public spaces and common areas - as well as office spaces where social distancing isn't possible.

Face coverings will also be required outside - if social distancing guidelines can't be met.

The university is also creating the protect purdue implementation team to help with reopening campus.

Employees say they are happy with the safety protocols.

"absolutely i feel safe i think they are doing a great job they are definitely doing what they should be doing."-sean griswold "it's just based on making sure that we are following whatever the science is at the time, to make sure we know how many infections that we have.
