The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday that 493 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indiana.

The first time in weeks, most local counties seem to have leveled off.

White county has 7 new cases - and another person has died.

Tippecanoe county is reporting 6 new cases - and cass county has 7.

New cases are also reported in carroll, clinton, howard and montgomery counties.

And for the first time- indiana has reached 30-thousand total cases statewide.

Governor eric holcomb will hold a press briefing this afternoon at 2-30, to provide an update on the state's efforts to battle the pandemic.
