Students delivered a musical send-off Thursday for a long-time music teacher at Hooker Oak Elementary School.
About 25 students performed a surprise serenade in front of music teacher Kim Gimbal's home.
He's retiring after 24 years of teaching music.
Due to COVID-19, the kids didn't have the chance for a proper goodbye.
So instead, they practiced remotely to preapre and came together with safe distancing to sing "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Lean on Me."
