Carta is resuming full operation but there are a few precautions that must take place before people get on the bus.

You know, if you're waiting around for your carta bus starting today you're going to want to have one of these handy.

A face covering.

That's because every passenger who's hopping on that bus taking a seat will be required to wear one.

Now, if you don't have one yourself, carta will be providing them that as well as hand sanitizer.

Now, also part of those safety protocols, they are encouraging, of course, social distancing while sitting on the bus and boarding three to 6 feet between people as you're getting on.

Now, we did speak with one person who actually takes the bus pretty much everyday going to work, especially before the pandemic happened.

Told us that he is looking forward to these buses being in full operation but says maybe for some people it could be a little too soon.

>>> i think it is going to be a public health factor just because so many people ride the bus and it is crammed on there.

Yeah, i think they should get into just a little bit more time.

This is actually an image of these routes that are not going to be in operation right now.

That includes route 204, i believe, and a couple of different other ones you're going to want to be aware of.

Some of them will be operational on june 1st though.

Now, folks at carta are encouraging folks to have their fares ready in order to expedite the boarding process and bring your own wipes as well in order to make sure that your area is clean both before and after you're sitting down on the bus.
