With the exception of puddles resulting from rainfall - there is no water here.

The concession stand windows are still down.

They're ominous signs of an abnormally quiet start to the pool season.

"one of the last sessions we said we might have to decide what we're going to do with the pool if it stays open or it closes, because a lot of the communities have closed there."

Pools-llmpkg-4 council member robert rasmussen has come to the pool throughout his life.

While he'd like to have the pool open this summer - one factor that he's concerned about is the locker rooms. "if you have a busy day with a lot of people in there, that's my biggest concern is that covid could spread more readily through the facility."

A decision will be made during the city council meeting this evening at 7 p-m.
