A funeral and after-service gathering in Baldwyn has led to several COVID-19 cases in Mississippians and out-of-state residents, according to the state health department.

Health leaders are trying to notify the people who attended a funeral in baldwyn -- after 7 people tested positive for coronavirus... the outbreak began at the services of mary lee agnew on may 17th -- at agnew and sons funeral home in baldwyn... graveside service were held at sandhill mission baptist church... the state health department says at least 100 people attended... we spoke with someone who worked at both the visitation and graveside services.... she said they followed state guidelines... spread out."

We asked them to spread out, there are some people who did spread out and of course you know when you're greiving, it's kind of hard to spread out as muich as possible, but we did enforce the rules and we held people to spread out buchanan said that leading up to the services -- there were large gatherings at mary lee agnew's house.... the press release sent out by the state health department urged mississippians to continue to limit indoor gatherings to 10 people or less -- and outdoor gatherings to 20 or less.... if you attended that funeral on sunday, the grave side services or the after service.
