Now we've seen protesters gathering in downtown evansville - demanding justice for george floyd.

But some are bringing attention to*additional issues.

Several doctors and medical students from the area joined a protest over the weekend to support the black lives matter movement.

They talked about racial disparities in the medical field.

Black men are twice as likely to die from a heart attack before the age of fifty.

Even now, black patients are significantly more likely to die of covid related causes, so we wanted to bring awareness to this.

We know that physiology is not the problem here.

It generations of systemic racism?
