Thousands gathered at Place de la Republique in Paris on Tuesday (June 9) to protest against racism and police brutality.
The protesters observed a moment of silence lasting 8 minutes and 46 seconds in memory of George Floyd.
A number of speakers also addressed the crowd including journalist Audrey Pulvar.
