Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh said on June 14 that earlier flags of Pakistan and Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) were seen in Kashmir but now only Indian flag is seen in there.

"Earlier in Kashmir, protests demanding 'Kashmir azaadi' were held and flags of Pakistan and Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) were seen, but now only Indian flag is seen there," said Rajnath Singh while addressing 'Jammu Jan Samvad rally' via video conferencing in New Delhi.

Baloch activists hold anti-Pak protest for human rights violations in Balochistan

The Baloch Republican Party (BRP) held a protest demonstration in Hannover city of Germany against recent brutal killings of five abducted Bugti tribesmen by the Punjab Police in Rajanpur, some 400 kms from Lahore. BRP Germany Chapter organised the rally and protested to highlight Pakistan Authority crime against the Baloch. They also launched a social media campaign titled #justiceforbalochpeople. They raised the slogans 'Justice for Baloch people'. BRP Germany President Jawad Baloch during his speech appealed to the human rights institutions to take notice of the killing of abducted tribal Baloch. The Baloch activists said that these Baloch were abducted from different places and were killed in fake encounter in Rajanpur on July 31. The victims were identified as Ghulam Hussain Bugti, Ramzan Bugti, Master Ali Bugti and two others. Punjab Police claimed they belonged to outlawed Balochistan Republic Army (BLA). A large number of Baloch, including political activists, journalists and other intellectuals are victims of enforced disappearance in Balochistan province. The Baloch claimed that they were abducted by secret agencies, the ISI and MI, and many of them are languishing in isolated detention centres. The security forces kill many of them and throw their mutilated bodies in isolated places, claims the Baloch political parties.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra vacated her official Lodhi Estate bungalow on Thursday. Priyanka handed over the possession to CPWD on Thursday. An official statement issued by the Congress said Priyanka Gandhi handed over the possession of her 35, Lodhi Estate bungalow, "previously allotted to her on security grounds", to the CPWD. "She will be residing in a temporary accommodation until a more permanent accommodation in Delhi rented by her is ready for use," an official communication from the Congress party said. Earlier in the day, a team of central PWD officials visited her house and took the keys of the Lodhi Estate bungalow. Centre had cancelled Priyanka’s New Delhi accommodation at Lodhi Estate. The Ministry of Urban Development issued a notice to Priyanka Gandhi on July 1, asking her to vacate the Lodhi Estate bungalow before August 1, as she was no longer eligible for it after her security cover was downgraded last year. Priyanka had earlier this month cleared her pending dues. The said house has since been allotted to BJP's media department in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni. Priyanka was allotted the 35, Lodhi Estate bungalow in New Delhi in 1997.
