Local non-profit hosts 4K Walk, Run at Rosa Parks Square

A local non-profit is taking action to raise concerns about killings and racial injustices happening in Middle Georgia.

A local non-profit is taking action to bring attention to the recent killings and examples of racial injustices.

Freedom for all macon will hold a 4-k solidarity run and walk saturday morning.

The two-point-twenty-one-mile route will start at rosa parks square in macon and go through downtown.

The 4-k will honor ahmaud arbery and highlight historical african-american markers along the route, including the story of john cocky glover, a man lynched in macon in 19-22.

The race will also name the 30 plus victims also name the 30 plus victims of gun violence in macon this year.

I think it's important to tell stories of this nature because often times people say that this a racial injustice happened somewhere else or what's happening there but not here but c1 3 b13 if we remember our past the good and the bad we're able to unify and come together to change it the walk will be from 9 a-m to about 11:30 a-m.
