An update on the protest held outside attorney general daniel cameron earlier this week in louisville.
L3: abc 36 news white felony charge dropped against protesters louisville the courier journal reports ... this afternoon... the jefferson county dropped the felony charge against the 87 protesters arrested at cameron's home tuesday.
They were there demanding justice for breonna taylor, the louisville e-m-t who was shot and killed by police back in march.
The protesters were initially charged with intimidating a participant in the legal process... which is a felony punishable by one to five years in pson.
According to the newspaper... o'connell says he dismissed the charge quote: "in the interst of justice and promotion of the free exchange of ideas."
The protesters also were charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct... both misdemeanors.
