The Very Nasty Ways COVID-19 Can Attack The Body Even After 'Recovery'

It bears repeating: The long term effects of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic on global health, beyond deaths alone, are going to be substantial.

According to Gizmodo, scientists are learning more about the whole-body damaged caused by COVID-19.

Others suddenly develop diabetes, where blood sugar has risen to dangerous levels that need immediate medical treatment.

Some 'recovered' patients have also developed neurological problems, kidney and/or liver damage, and gastrointestinal symptoms. Finally, one particularly odd skin condition that can develop is that of discolored toes, known as "COVID toes."
