T-h-e blm says last year more than 300 wildfires in oregon and california burned nearly 50-thousand acres of land.

Although the b-l-m's emergency stabilization and rehabilitation team was created to stabilize forests after a wildfire, it says stabilization is not always required.

Of the rogue river national forest, the e-s-r responded to help repair damage.

The intent of them is to slow the water down on that road side and to cause it to degrate material to form a gravel guard and eventually push the channel away from the road.
