As part of Lauderdale County's return to school plan, students will be divided into an "A" and "B" group.

New information -- lauderdale county students will go to school virtually 3-days a week - and traditional 2-days a week.

Students will be split up into group a and group b.

Group a will go to traditional school on monday and tuesdays.

All students will be virtual on wednesdays so staff can deep clean the classrooms. then on thursday and friday group b will be in traditional school.

Students who are siblings will go to school on the same days.

The school system said 20% of parents told them they want to be virtual full time.

For parents who have signed up their students to be virtual full time will have a chance to come back to traditional classes during the year.

It's unclear when parents will learn if their child is in in group a or b.
