Glenn county reported its third coronavirus death yesterday.

The person was hospitalized and over the age of 60 with multiple underlying chronic health conditions.

The county reported 6 new cases cases wednesday.

Tehama county - reporting 11 new cases.

Shasta county reported 7 new cases.

And butte county added 17 new cases.

The state of california is pushing the pause button for the coronavirus watchlist -- citing incomplete data with the state's testing database.

California has the highest record of positive tests in the nation... however - health reps say the true number is higher.

California will stop adding or removing counties from the state watchlist until the problem is fixed.

State prison representatives are planning the early release of as many as 17- thousand, 600 inmates due to the coronavirus-- over 40 inmates have filed a petition asking to be included in that plan.

23 inmates have died at san quentin... and 170 inmates have tested positive-- more than any other prison in the state.

This morning kai perelli is expected to enter a plea in court to the charge of shooting and killing his neighbor scott thomson.

The victim's loved ones described him as a hard- working man who loved music.

A judge sentenced them wednesday to six months in jail... and three years probation after they all pled guilty.

District attorney mike ramsey said the trio used a molotov cocktail to try and set a chico state police car on fire.

60 lawmakers sent a letter to governor newsom on wednesday as more than a million californians have waited for months to receive an unemployment check.

Some unemployed have reported only receiving one check and are still waiting on the next.

Lawmakers say the governor's task force is not enough to solve the issues with the employment department.

Lawmakers on capital hill have proposed a plan that would include federal unemployment payments of 400 dollars a week - down from the previous 600.

The plan also includes a ban on evictions until the end of the year and 10 billion dollars for the postal service - to help with mail-in election ballots.
