In shasta county shasta elementary schools are starting the year with a hybrid model.

Shasta high students return to campus today with split days as well.

Only half the students will be on campus at a time.

Anderson high school returns to five days a week in-person classes... but is prepared to move distance learning..

Should there be an outbreak.

All four cascade union elementary schools in anderson will have students return to campus today.

Remote learning and home-school options are also offered.

In butte county som* schools are starting virtually this week the oroville elementary school district and palermo union schools start today.

And paradise unified schools start tomorrow.

Happening today- pg&e is set to host a webinar on wildfire prevention and its own efforts to reduce the number of public safety shutoffs..

The money is part of $464 million in grant awards from the department of transportaiton..
