Storm Francis smashes into the coast of Scheveningen in the Netherlands this morning (August 25).
The storm, which passed through Ireland and the UK, reached the country in the early hours of the morning with wind speeds of up to 100kph and heavy rain.
The KNMI meteorological office has issued a code yellow storm warning for coastal areas.
